Freshmen, sophomore, junior, and seniors classes will battle it out this week in the annual volley puff and powder puff games.

Powder puff and volley puff gives students the opportunity to the sports they play.

Powder puff is when girls get the opportunity to play football, though it is flag football.

The teams are separated by class, and the first 20 girls to turn in their forms get to be on the team.

The teams are coached by any boys who signed up to coach first, but they must be in the class of the team they are coaching.

The powder puff game will be held Monday, Oct. 9 after school from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and the girls who are playing are expected to be at the field at 5:45 p.m..

Volley puff is when the boys get to play volleyball.

Girl volleyball players coach the boys and teach them how to play.

The first come first serve rule applies to volley puff players as well.

The volley puff game will take place Friday Oct. 13 during the pep rally, which takes place from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m..

For both volley puff and powder puff the seniors think they can dominate.

“The seniors are going to destroy everyone,” senior Aiden Hawkins said.
