Scouts Enlist Coral Shores Athletes

As sports seasons come to a end, some of the athletes at Coral Shores High School (CSHS) are going to be taking their skills to the next level.

Senior Jake Curry has committed to Polk State for baseball after having a productive four years of baseball here at Coral Shores.

“I’m excited to be going to Polk State and to be playing there for the next two years,” Curry said.

The football program also has some athletes that are planning to play at the collegiate level.

Senior Aiden Hawkins has been scouted and recruited by a few schools but is not yet sure which one he is going to attend.

“I’m really just excited to have the chance to play college football; it’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was young,” Hawkins said.

As for basketball, senior Elijah Woods has communicated with a few schools but isn’t certain yet of which one is the best fit for him.

“I’m weighing my options, deciding on what’s best for me, but I’m excited for what the next few years will bring,” Elijah Woods said.
