My advice to upcoming freshmen is to not take things super seriously. High school is your last chance to enjoy your childhood and not have all of the adult responsibilities. College is important, yes, but you shouldn’t spend your entire high school career being stressed out about your future. Everything works out. Your life will fall into place. If you don’t get into the school of your choice at first, you can always transfer. There are great community colleges and trade schools, too! You will miss out on a lot of fun things if you are constantly stressing about something as irrelevant as a teacher giving you a C in a class.
